I am James Kippenberger, Portfolio Commercial Lead at Tenzing, a Founder-focused, growth equity investor.
Previously I was Chief Revenue & Strategy Officer at BigHand, a global B2B legal-tech software business providing solutions focused on improving law firm productivity. BigHand have been backed by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) since 2020. Along the journey, I held multiple leadership roles across sales, strategy, product and customer success, to help take the business through three cycles of private equity (LDC, BDC and LLCP) as the business grew from revenues of £2m to £50m today. We delivered a mix of organic growth, accompanied by ten acquisitions.
