I am Jamie Morris, Founder of The Travel Chapter, one of the UK’s leading providers of self-catering holiday rentals. Phoenix Equity Partners backed our first MBO in 2016. During the course of this initial investment period, we made twenty acquisitions, more than doubled the number of employees and properties under management, and increased profits threefold.
In 2019, we took the business through a secondary buyout with ECI Partners, after which, I passed the reins to my internal successor, Jayne McClure, and transitioned to Founder/Non Exec.
In 2022, the company was acquired by Intermediate Capital Group.
