In the last 5 years I have worked in a non-executive chair capacity for 5 PE backed businesses across software, IT services and telecoms. I am currently Chairman of Kocho (cloud transformation services, backed by BGF) and KidsKonnect (international SaaS provider to the childcare sector, backed by Five Arrows Growth Capital). Previous Chair roles include Gradwell Communications, backed by Chiltern Capital, and Redstor, which was backed by Beech Tree Private Equity until we sold it to Bregal Milestone in 2021.
I was previously CEO at Pulsant, a provider of managed cloud and data centre services, for seven years, where I oversaw an MBI with Bridgepoint and an SBO to Oak Hill Capital Partners, before a final exit to Antin Infrastructure Partners in 2021. Prior to this I was CEO of Digica, an IT services company, which we sold to Computacenter, following a successful MBI with Bridgepoint.
I enjoy sharing my experiences of working with different investors, scaling technology businesses and making acquisitions and exits, with all the good and bad things that can happen along the way!
