My first private equity role was as COO for Attenda, the UK‘s leading managed service and cloud platform provider, which at the time had some early stage venture funding. We went through a management buyout in 2002 when the company was bought by Phoenix Equity Partners, MC Partners, UBS Capital and Tarrant Ventures. I saw the company through two further processes: a secondary buyout to Darwin in 2011, and a trade sale to Ensono in 2016, where I worked for a further two years as European Managing Director.
I then transitioned to a Non-Exec role at Datum Datacentres, another Darwin portfolio company, where I am still working. I also am an independent consultant for the due diligence of IT Services businesses, often for private equity firms.
