I was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of leading private equity firm, Duke Street, which has invested over £2 billion in over 50 companies, generating gross returns of more than 25% pa. I have served as lead Non-exec Director on numerous boards of growth companies backed by Duke Street, notably in the consumer-facing sector, for example: Wagamama, Simple and Oasis Healthcare. In my early career, I spent a number of years as Finance Director of Sea Life Centres during its first move into international markets.
I have now increased my commitment to non-profit activities, with a particular focus on education in lower income countries, and I Chair United World Schools. Having led multiple exits at Duke Street, I enjoy advising PepTalks members on what is expected of them as they transition to PE ownership and how to best prepare for a sale process.
