I Steve Byrne, CEO of Travel Counsellors, the global corporate and leisure travel provider. With over 1,500 franchises across seven countries, we are the only travel company to twice be awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. In 2016, the business was named a ‘Company to Inspire Britain’ by the London Stock Exchange, and an Amazon ‘Growing Business of the Year’.

I have led Travel Counsellors through two rounds of private equity funding, the first with Equistone and the second with our current investors, Vitruvian.

I enjoy sharing my experiences with PepTalks members on: navigating the challenges of scaling businesses under PE ownership.
