A social mobility programme for disadvantaged school leavers.
Launching in the South East in 2023, carefully selected interns are given 6 month PAID internships in four of our Member’s companies.
Our selection criteria includes students who:
Each intern is assigned two mentors: a PepTalks employee and a young person from our Member’s company.
Each intern is carefully placed, according to their skill set and personality profile and each Line Manager is carefully selected to lead and develop an intern.
At the end of the programme, if the intern has demonstrated commitment and capability, they are offered a permanent role in the member business.
If appropriate the employee will be encouraged to undertake a professional qualification and will continue to be supported by PepTalks Intern buddy groups.
